Dr. Olaf Then
Medical Consultant.
Dr. Olaf Then is a specialist in Orthopaedics and Sports medicine
for the Orthopaedic and Rheumatoid Centre of the Bavarian Red Cross in Germany. During a long and eminent career, he
has distinguished himself as one of Europe's top orthopaedic specialists.
After completing a thesis in orthopaedics, Dr. Then began a career specialising in orthopaedics at some of Europe's
top hospitals. These include the: Orthopaedic department of the University in Munich (RDI); Orthopaedic and Trauma
department at Hinchingbrook Hospital in Huntingdon; Orthopaedic and Trauma department at the Queen Elisabeth Hospital
in King’s Lynn; Traumatology department in Trostberg Hospital, Germany.
Following years of work as an orthopaedic surgeon, Dr.Then turned his attention to preventative therapy. His background
includes training in holistic Medicine in China and working as a chiropractor at the FAC, Germany.
A former professional tennis player, trainer and coach, Dr. Olaf Then himself became a sports invalid following an accident
in which a broken ankle and severe back pain made sport impossible for many years.
It was during his own treatment that he discovered MBTs and began to use them in his everyday life. Today he is complete
free from pain free and is again playing sport.
Dr. Then is currently conducting clinical trials into MBT usage and is planning to publish some of his findings in a forthcoming
book. He has, to date, successfully employed MBT's during the treatment of more than 700 patients with back, hip and joint problems,
many of whom would otherwise have required surgical intervention.
