Registered Osteopath and Naturopath

Current position

Working in two South Bucks GP Practices as well as a Complementary Health Clinic.  I run a busy Osteopathic Practice treating a wide range of patients from the very young to the elderly.  Most of my patients are referrals from the medical profession or word of mouth.  I believe that treatment should be a two way process and actively encourage my patients to take responsibility for their health.  I incorporate a mixture of approaches in my treatment sessions such as Osteopathy, nutritional advice, functional exercises such as Pilates, postural advice and I recommend the use of MBT's.

I have always taken particular interest in posture and the way people walk and the way it affects health, vitality the spine and joints.  I have undergone considerable training in rehabilitative exercises, functional exercises and have qualified as a Modified Pilates Teacher with the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute.  Modified Pilates is particularly effective form of remedial treatment for certain back conditions and helps reduce back or neck pain.  I offer regular courses in Modified Pilates for Back Pain Sufferers and one to one sessions for more difficult cases.   I have trained in Ante and Post natal remedial exercises and offer classes for this group of patients. I also give regular talks to special interest groups as well as patients on back care and how to reduce episodes of back pain.

However,  I often feel frustrated by the fact most people find it difficult incorporate these exercises into their everyday life and still walk with poor posture and gait.  MBT's change all that.
