The Westfield Health Scheme covering mainly the northeast, is the first UK Health Insurer to refund purchases of MBT.

"MBT are payable under Westfield's "Surgical Appliance benefit", allowing every physio, chiropractor, osteopath and GP in that region to prescribe MBTs. Their costs will be recoverable under this health scheme.
